Hello,

My name is Alexa and I am a research assistant working at the Anxiety Disorders Center in Hartford, Connecticut. I am reaching out because we are conducting a study for individuals with hoarding disorder. The purpose of the study is to learn whether exercise improves hoarding-related distress.

You may qualify if you are:
*Age 45 to 65
*Experiencing clutter or hoarding problems
*Physically able to walk at a brisk pace
*Able to come in-person to the Anxiety Disorders Center in Hartford

Participation may include:
*30 minutes of walking
*Watching an informational video
*A blood draw
*Compensation up to $75

If you are interested in participating, please take the following survey to determine your eligibility:

https://redcap.hhchealth.org/surveys/?s=JJN8NTYY4AF8CEJ9.

If you have any questions about the study:
*Please feel free to call (860-545-7039) or email (adc.research@hhchealth.org) the Anxiety
Disorders Center research team.

*You can also direct your questions to the lead researcher of this study, Hannah Levy,
Ph.D (860-545-7847).

*This study and its protocol have been approved by Hartford HealthCare's Institutional Review
Board (IRB). This study's IRB number is R-HHC-2024-0226. You can ask an IRB representative
about your rights as a research participant (860-972-2893).
